About Ugo Capeto

Ok, let's do this 3rd person style ...

Ugo Capeto's music is driven by melodic motifs. He's even obsessed by them.

For Ugo Capeto, music making is just like a roller coaster with its ups and downs, the building up of energy and its release. Music should be a clever mix of expected and unexpected events, at least, that's how he sees it.

His influences are many but in the field of so-called electronic music, the artists he feels the most comfortable with are The Chemical Brothers and Imogen Heap.

Although he could theoretically work with any instrument (he's got ten fingers and two feet, after all), he prefers step sequencers to create his music. Yeah, it's just plain easier with a mouse and who could blame him for that?
