The lead voice ended up sounding a bit like a pan flute. Not quite intended but pretty nice nonetheless (I think). Talking about tones, don't you sometime wish there were more predefined tones available, like the usual instruments you can find on any general purpose keyboard? I know the Korg DS-10 is supposed to be a "true" synthesizer and that you are pretty much left on your own regarding sound synthesis, but it would have been nice to think about the people that primarily use the software as a sequencer/tracker and provide a nice bank of tones for them. Just a thought anyway... to fill this post.
The Korg DS-10 is a synthesizer/step sequencer for the Nintendo DS. Ugo Capeto, this blog's author, composes melodic electronica, chillout, downtempo tracks on the Korg DS-10.
