Korg DS-10 Track 16

Can't say I've been too creative with this short composition. It seems you can get addicted to the delay effect. Yes, it's gonna be time to get away from echoing everything since it has a tendency to make you a tad sloppy on the melodic front.

I am thinking of inviting guest Korg DS-10 musicians on this blog by embedding their youtube videos here. Wouldn't do it without their express permission of course. We'll see how it goes.

  1. Yes, delay is quite addictive. I try to avoid turning it on because it lures me in and completely takes over the song.

I suppose I should finish something sometime and put it on youtube, instead of merely building a collection of fragmented ideas. ;)

  2. Cool, i am not the only thinking that way.

finally i've decided not to embed other people's work. a bit too easy.

  3. I find delay quite relaxing, a throwback to the days of late 70's German work, so i don't think you can get as "addicted" to it as you say. It provides an exaggerated, almost marimba-like sound to the melody.

Thanks for the post and keep up the great work!
